Operation
If applicable, by removing the head-rest (D). See 'Removing the head-rest'.
If applicable, by removing the back wheels (E) (only on Ibis 24").
By folding up the foot-support (F). See 'Folding up the foot-support'.
By replacing the parts that were removed, and by putting the other parts back in their
operating positions, the Ibis is ready for immediate use again. See the descriptions
concerned.

Removing the seat cushion

See fig. 010407010.
The seat cushion can also be removed to
reduce the wheelchair. This should be done
as follows:
Pull up the seat (A).
When replacing the seat, the clips (B) should
click around the frame (C) of the chair.
Check whether the seat is
clicked in place securely.

Removing the seat cushion

The backrest can be folded down to facilitate
transport of the wheelchair, for example in a
car.
Folding down the backrest should be done as
follows:
Flip the lock clip (A) off the adjusting bar
(B).
Pull the locking pin, which is attached to the
lock clip, from the hinged joint.
The backrest can now be folded down.
Push the locking pin into the hole of the adjusting bar and lock the
lock clip, to prevent loss of these parts.
To bring back the backrest to its proper position, the reverse order should be followed.
