Control a DVD player (or VCR or Blu-ray Disc Player)
Only the buttons described here control a VCR or a DVD/BD player. Some of
the buttons described here may not control your VCR or DVD/BD player. See
the user's manual that came with your VCR or DVD/BD player for information
about the features.
DVD Mode Button
Note: Your remote may have a VCR Mode Button. The VCR Mode Button
performs the same functions as the DVD Mode Button.
You must first set up the remote to control the VCR or DVD player. See Set Up
the Remote to Control Devices, beginning on page 104. Then, you must press
the DVD mode button to set the remote to DVD mode. The DVD mode button
lights for two seconds to show you've set the remote to DVD mode. Make sure
you keep the remote in DVD mode to use the buttons described here.

TV/Video Button
Use the TV/VIDEO button to switch the VCR between its TV mode and its
VCR mode (see your VCR user manual for information).

Power Button

Press the blank POWER button to turn the VCR or DVD/BD player on or off.
Page Up and Down Arrow Buttons
Use the PAGE UP and DOWN ARROW buttons to change channels on the
VCR's built-in tuner.
