Selecting the fax quality

Selecting one of the following image quality settings to match the type of
document (whether it contains a large amount of small print, detailed illustra-
tions or photos) to be faxed will produce a sharper result.
Document type
Text documents (TEXT), photo docu-
ments (PHOTO), or documents containing
text and photos (TEXT/PHOTO)

Selecting a Quality setting

Press the [Fax] key.
The machine enters Fax mode, and the Fax mode screen appears.

Position the document to be faxed.

Press the [Quality] key.

Press the [+] or [,] key until the desired Quality setting is selected, and
then press the [OK] key.
