Faxing after completing a telephone call (manual fax-
ing)
If a telephone is connected to the machine and the same line is used for
phoning and faxing, the document can be sent immediately after talking with
the recipient over the telephone.
This feature is useful, for example, if you wish to notify the recipient that you
are sending a fax.
!
Detail
Memory transmission cannot be performed with a manual transmission.
If the recipient's fax machine is set to receive faxes automatically (auto-
matic reception), a beep is sounded without the recipient answering the
telephone. In this case, you cannot talk to the recipient.
When faxing after completing a telephone call, feed the document using
the document feeder.
