Using F-codes

This machine is compatible with F-code communications defined by the
Communications and Information Network Association of Japan.
F-code communications are mailbox functions that use "SUB" (sub-ad-
dresses), "SEP" (selective polling), "SID" and "PWD" (passwords), which are
regulated by the G3 standards of the ITU-T (International Telecommunication
Union).
Use the keypad to specify the F-codes described below, according to the
operation to be performed.

Detail
F-code functions can only be used with fax machines equipped with F-
code functions. Before specifying settings, check that both machines are
compatible with F-codes.
If one-touch dial keys or speed dial numbers are programmed with F-
codes (SUB or SID), F-code communications can be performed.
Mailbox transmissions/receptions can be performed with machines com-
patible with F-codes.

Specify when transmitting using F-codes. A
maximum of 20 digits can be entered.
Specify when limiting recipients by using a
password. A maximum of 20 digits can be en-
tered.
Specify when calling the sender to have a doc-
ument sent.
