MAINTENANCE ON CHASSIS AND ENGINE
Info
Never user DOT 5 brake fluid! This is based on silicone oil and is colored purple. Oil seals and brake lines are not designed for
DOT 5 brake fluid.
Avoid contact between brake fluid and painted parts. Brake fluid attacks paint!
Use only clean brake fluid from a sealed container!

Removing wheel/wheels

Proceed in the same way on the other wheels if necessary.

Mounting wheel/wheels

Note
Material damage Damage and destruction of components from incorrect positioning and mounting.
Do not swap the wheels; the tire valves must always be on the outside when the wheels are positioned and mounted.

Proceed in the same way on the other wheels if necessary.
Remove the rear brake linings.
Remove screw
Press the brake piston back to its basic position and make sure that no brake fluid
overflows from the brake fluid reservoir.
Mount the rear brake linings.
Top up the brake fluid to level
Brake fluid DOT 4 / DOT 5.1 (
Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.

Refit screw

Clean up overflowed or spilt brake fluid immediately with water.
Pull the hand brake lever, push the locking pawl

Loosen the wheel nuts
Jack up the vehicle. (
Remove the wheel nuts. Remove the wheel.

Carefully remove the wheel, making sure it does not become jammed with
the threads of the screws.

Position the wheel on the hub.

Mount the wheel nuts but do not tighten.
