Turbocharger pressure testing
Install a 0-2bar pressure gauge at position A after removing the
existing plug.
Start the engine and operate at low idle for five minutes to allow
warm-up.
Increase the engine speed to 3000 r/min or 3600 r/min
(depending on engine specification while applying full Nb load to
the engine).
See page 10 for the power output curve.
The gauge pressure, at full speed, full load, should be 0.87-0.91
bar (655÷685 mm Hg).
If the pressure setting does not reach specification, adjust the
turbocharger waste gate 8 as is defined on page 48.
