Using the INTEGRA-7 with Your Computer

USB Driver

Here's how to switch between the dedicated INTEGRA-7 USB driver
and the generic driver provided by the operating system.
If you want to use USB audio, you'll need to use the VENDER driver.
1.
In the MENU screen, choose "SYSTEM" and press the
[ENTER] button.
2.
Choose "SETUP" tab and press the [ENTER] button.
3.
Specify the USB Driver that you want to use.
When you change this setting, a confirmation message will appear.

Explanation
VENDER
The dedicated INTEGRA-7 driver provided by Roland will
(MIDI+AUDIO)
be used. MIDI and audio will be available.
GENERIC
The generic driver provided by the operating system
(MIDI only)
will be used. Only MIDI will be available.
MEMO
This setting will take effect after you've carried out a System
Write, and you've turned the unit off, then back on again.

Choose "WRITE" and press the [ENTER] button to save the
setting.

Turn the unit off, then on again.

Connecting the INTEGRA-7 to Your
Computer
1.
Install the USB driver on your computer.
If you want to use the INTEGRA-7's USB audio functionality, change
the USB Driver setting to VENDER and then install the driver. You
can download the driver from the Roland website.

The procedure for installing the driver will differ depending on your
system. Before you proceed, you should carefully read the "Readme"
file that was extracted along with the installer.

Use a USB cable (sold separately) to connect the
INTEGRA-7 to your computer.
