The selectable settings and the default settings vary depending on the country where you
have purchased the FAX. The values shown here are average values.
For the default settings for your FAX, see Appendix B.

Summary of Settings
Description
Enables/disables reduction of faxes to fit on the paper
loaded in the multi-purpose tray.
If you select ON, you can select the direction of the
reduction.
Selects the size of the paper loaded in the multi-
purpose tray (1 p. 5-7).
If you select CUSTOM, you can select additional
sub-settings (1 p. 5-7).
Enables/disables economy printing (1 p. 5-9).
Selects whether the FAX continues printing when
toner level is low (CHANGE CARTRIDGE displayed in
the LCD).
RX TO MEMORY: Stops printing and received faxes are
stored in memory.
KEEP PRINTING: Continues printing even when toner
level is low. Select this setting when you do not have a
new toner cartridge available and need to print any
faxes received in memory.
