The selectable settings and the default settings vary depending on the country where you have
purchased the FAX. The values shown here are average values.

14 8 Summary of Settings
Description
Enables/disables reduction of faxes to fit on the paper
loaded in the multi purpose tray.
ON
If you select , you can select the direction of the
reduction.
Selects the size of the paper loaded in the multi purpose
tray ( p. 5 6).
If you select CUSTOM , you can select additional
sub settings ( p. 5 6).
Enables/disables economy printing (
Selects whether the FAX continues printing when
CHANGE CARTRIDGE
toner level is low (
the LCD).
RX TO MEMORY : Stops printing and received faxes are
stored in memory.
KEEP PRINTING : Continues printing even when toner
level is low. Select this setting when you do not have a
new toner cartridge available and need to print any faxes
received in memory.
