MPX1500 transmitter overview

The MPX1500 transmitter is a second-generation transmitter that is designed with minimal foot-
print in mind. To accomplish this goal, the media module has been replaced by a single DVI-I dual-
link media input port and the front panel display have been replaced by LEDs. Although similar in
functionality to the MPX1000 transmitter, the MPX1500 transmitter requires slightly different
configuration due to the multi-purpose media input port and lack of button panel interface.
The front panel of the MPX1500 transmitter and receivers are identical. Refer to MPX1500
receiver overview on page 19 for an overview of the front panel.
Figure 2.3 on page 16 illustrates the rear panel of the MPX1500T transmitter.
