4. Install :
• Piston Rings ¿
NOTE :
Offset the Piston Rings end gaps as shown.
ç Top Ring End
è Oil Ring end (lower)
é Oil Ring End (upper)
ê 2nd Ring End
5. Lubricate :
• Piston outer surface
• Piston Rings
• Cylinder Inner Surface
6. Install :
• Cylinder ¿
NOTE :
À
• Install the Cylinder with one hand while com-
pressing the Piston Rings with the other hand
• Pass the Timing Chain and Guide stopper # 2
through the Timing Chain Cavity.
• Press the Piston down to rest on Piston
