Symptom
The image is too
light.
The image is too
dark.
The copy is
blurry.
EP1030/1030F
Possible Cause
The manual exposure
level is set on the
lighter side.
You have been
making copies from a
photo or an original
with a large dark area.
The Toner has just
been replenished.
The Toner Indicator is
lit up on the Control
Panel.
The paper is damp.
The manual exposure
level is set on the
darker side.
The surface of the
Original Glass is dirty.
The original is not
held tightly against
the Original Glass.
The paper is damp.

Press the Exposure
Control Key 6 as
necessary to obtain a
darker image.

toner. Replenish toner by
using the Toner
Replenisher Function.
