1. When This Type of Copy is Produced

Symptom

The Image is too light.

The Image is too dark.

The Copy is blurry.

Possible Cause
The exposure level for the Auto
Exposure Mode is set at one of the
"Light" levels.
The manual exposure level is set
on the lighter side.

You have been making copies from
a photo or an original with a large
dark area.
The Toner Bottle has just been
replaced.
The message "Replenish toner" or
"Please add toner" is shown on the
Touch Panel.
The paper is damp.
The exposure level for the Auto

The manual exposure level is set
on the darker side.
