1.8.1 Maintenance And Diagnostic Modes

When the printer is not functioning properly, there are three modes that help
you detect what is wrong and can help you fix the problem. These modes are
"Maintenance Mode", "Maintenance Mode 2", and "Self-Diagnostic Mode".
To enter a mode, press and hold down the appropriate button (described
below) while turning on the printer.
For details on how to make settings, see "SelecType Settings" on page 40. To
exit a mode, turn the printer off and on again.
The following explanations regarding control panel service
functions are for service and support purposes only; do not
share this information with the user.
