2. Basic operation procedure

2-1. Changing over between the information mode and the normal sewing mode

The IP panel operation is generally divided into the operation under the information mode and that
under the normal sewng mode. The mode can be changed over between those two modes usng the
Informaton swtch
Information mode
Under this mode, function settings for the production support function are carried out and the sew-
ing machine operation is set/checked.
* Under the information mode, the sewing machine cannot perform sewing.
Normal sewing mode
Under this mode, the sewing machine performs sewing.
The sewing screen differs on a model-by-model basis. It is possible to use the IP panel by chang-
ng over the screen, wth the Screen changeover swtch
