■ Main dial brake adjustment

The tenson of the man dal may be adjusted to sut
your preference.
The brake adjustment s located on the bottom sde of
the front panel. See the fgure at rght.
Slde the brake adjustment to a comfortable tenson
level whle turnng the dal contnuously and evenly n
one drecton.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Squelch s open.
• The same frequences have been programmed
n scan edge memory channels P1 and P2.
• 2 or more memory channels have not been
programmed.
• 2 or more memory channels have not been
desgnated as select channels.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
• The dal lock functon s actvated.
• A set mode screen s selected.
• The nternal CPU has malfunctoned.
• The screen saver functon s actvated.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
• The nserted USB-Memory capacty s smaller
than 64 MB.
• The nserted USB-Memory capacty s larger
than 2 GB.
SOLUTION
• Set the [RF/SQL] control to the threshold
pont.
• Program dfferent frequences n scan edge
memory channel P1 and P2.
• Program more than 2 memory channels.
• Desgnate more than 2 memory channels as
select channels for the scan.
SOLUTION
• Push and hold [SPEECH/LOCK] for 1 sec. to
turn the functon OFF.
• Push [EXIT/SET] several tmes to ext the set
mode screen.
• Reset the CPU.
• Operate the transcever.
• Set the screen saver functon n the set mode
to "OFF."
SOLUTION
• Insert a USB-Memory larger than 64 MB, or
select the FAT format.
• Insert a USB-Memory smaller than 2 GB, or
select the FAT32 format.
