This guide describes how to configure the D-Link 4000 Series switch software features by using the Web-based graphical
user interface (GUI). The D-Link 4000 Series switch architecture accommodates a variety of software modules so that a
platform running D-Link software can be a Layer 2 switch in a basic network or a Layer 3 router in a large, complex network.

System administrators who are responsible for configuring and operating a network using D-Link 4000 Series switch
