Chapter 8 Parameters Guide

SUB LIMITER

The limiter attenuates loud input levels to prevent distortion.

Selects the limiter type.
BOSS Limitr This selects a stereo limiter.
Rack 160D This models a dbx 160X.
Vtg Rack U This models a UREI 1178.
Attack
0–100 Adjusts the attack time.
Threshold
Adjust this as appropriate for the input signal
from your bass. When the input signal level ex-

Ratio
This selects the compression ratio used with
1:1–∞:1
signals in excess of the threshold level.
Release
0–100 Adjusts the release time.
