The show sys syslog command includes the following options.

show sys syslog

followed by:

general-info

host <id> info

Conﬁguration example: syslog general info

syslog general-info command sample output" (page 79)

commands to display general information about the system log, and

information about a speciﬁed host.

Enabling the system log globally using Device Manager

You can enable the system log feature globally to send messages to up to

10 syslog hosts. By default, ﬁve hosts are supported.

To enable the system log feature globally:

Uploading the log or creating a syslog host to capture the log 79

Displays general information about the system log

Displays system log information for a specified host.
