Defining transfer criteria for the log file
To define transfer criteria for log transfer, use the following CLI command:
config bootconfig logfile
The config bootconfig logfile command includes the following
options:
config bootconfig logfile
followed by:
[minFreeSpace]
[maxFileSize]
[maxoccupyPercentage]
Configuration example
This configuration example uses the preceding commands
to specify a minimum SMP log file size of 200KB, a
maximum log file size of 1 024KB, and the percentage of
free space on the PCMCIA card that can be used for the
log file (90%):
You can change these parameters, although they are stored in the boot
config file, at anytime without rebooting the system. Changes made to these
parameters take affect immediately.
Configuring the remote host address and filename for log transfer
To configure the remote host address and filename for log transfer, use
the CLI command:
config log transferFile <id>
config log transferFile <id>
followed by:
id
add-IP
