Trap Log dialog box
When you operate Device Manager from a UNIX platform, you must be
logged on as a root to receive traps.
On a Windows platform, only the first DM application can open a trap log.
On a UNIX platform, only the root user can open a trap log.
By default, traps are sent in SNMP V2c format. However, if you use an older
network management system (NMS) that supports only SNMP V1 traps (HP
OpenView), you can indicate that the traps be sent in V1 format.
