Chapter 13 Loading Documents

Place the side of the document that is to be
scanned face down, and align it with the
document insertion guide before inserting the
front edge of the document into the machine.
Move the document insertion guide to the
far r i g h t w h e n i n s e r t i n g s p e c i a l
documents.

Gently push the front edge of the document until
it comes into contact with resistance to start up
the sound of the machine operating. Slide the
document in gently until it is fed into the
machine.
Do not release hold of the document
until scanning begins.
The document may become jammed if it
is released before it comes into contact
with resistance.
The document will cease movement
after it has slid a few centimeters into
the machine.

The document will be ejected to the document
output tray. Remove the document.
