Basic Copy Operation Flow

This section describes a basic copy operation flow.
The number of copies to be printed can be specified between 1 and 99.
Operation Procedure
Correspondence between the various document sizes and media sizes is to be set up
beforehand for the auto mode.

Select the output percentage and media type from the control panel when in
the manual mode.
You need to refer to the sections on "Selecting Percentages" (page 33) and
"Selecting the Media Supply" (page 34) in this manual for more details on
these functions.
Set up the background suppression, image density, media cut mode and all
other necessary copy features.
You need to refer to the sections on "Adjusting Density and Background
Suppression" (page 31) and "Selecting the Media Cut Mode" (page 32) in this
manual for more details on these functions.
Enter the number of copies required with the Control Panel Keys.
Place the document face down against the right document insertion guide.
The document will be scanned accordingly.
If the start of document scanning has been set to manual, the <Start> key is to
be pressed at this point. You need to refer to the "How to Start Scanning"
section in "7.2 Setting up the Common Specifications" in this manual for more
details on the custom presets (page 107).
You need to refer to "13.1 Documents" in this manual for more details on
loading documents (page 322).
The scanned data will join the output order stand-by queue if other print jobs
are being processed. The copy will be printed when the output number has
been reached.
