lia") guarantees that all aprilia motorcy-
cles produced in 1999 and from then on
which include front, rear and brake lights
as standard parts are sanctioned for
street use:
a) they have been designed, constructed,
and equipped in conformance with all
United States Environmental Protection
Agency (US Environmental Protection
Agency) and the California Air Resources
Board norms in force at the moment of
the initial sale to the public;
and
b) they have no materials or work defect
which could cause nonconformance with
the United States Environmental Protec-
tion Agency and the California Air Re-
sources Board norms in force for a period
of use which is based on engine displace-
ment: 3,728 miles (6.000 km), if the en-
gine displacement is less than 3.05 cu in
(50 cc); 7,456 mi (12.000 km) if the en-
gine displacement is less than 10.37 cu
in (170 cc); and 11,184 mi (18.000 km) if
the engine displacement is equal to or
greater than 10.37 cu in (170 cc), but in

après « aprilia ») garantit que tous les
motocycles aprilia produits en 1999 et
depuis lors, lesquels sont dotés de feux
avant et arrière et de feux stop comme
équipement standard, sont homologués
pour l'utilisation sur route :
a) ils ont été conçus, construits et équi-
pés pour satisfaire à toutes les normes en
vigueur au moment de la vente initiale au
public établies par l'United States Envi-
ronmental Protection Agency (organisme
états-unien de protection de l'environne-
ment) et par le California Air Resources
Board ;
et
b) ils n'ont aucun matériau défectueux ou
vice de fabrication pouvant causer la
non-conformité avec les normes en vi-
gueur établies par l'United States Envi-
ronmental Protection Agency et par le
California Air Resources Board, pour une
période d'utilisation basée sur la cylin-
drée du moteur : 3,728 mi (6 000 km), si
la cylindrée du moteur est inférieure à
3.05 cu in (50 cm³) ; 7,456 mi (12 000 km),
