Click Apply to set the bandwidth control for the selected ports. Results of configured Bandwidth Settings will be
displayed in the Port Bandwidth Table.

QoS Scheduling Mechanism

This drop-down menu allows you to select between a Weight Fair and a Strict mechanism for emptying the priority
classes. In the Configuration menu open the QoS folder and click QoS Scheduling Mechanism, to view the screen
shown below.

The Scheduling Mechanism has the following parameters.

This field allows you to enter the data rate, in Mbit/s, that will be the limit for the
selected port. The user may choose a rate between 1 and 9999 Mbit/s.
Description
The highest class of service is the first to process traffic. That is, the highest class of
service will finish before other queues empty.
Use the weighted round-robin (WRR) algorithm to handle packets in an even
distribution in priority classes of service.
