Maintaining Your GC
The bus can be hot even when the installed column is cool. Make
sure the bus is cool prior to handling bus components. Failure to
do so may result in personal injury.
The bus temperature indicator provides a quick status display
of the temperature of the Intuvo bus. Depending on the bus
temperature, the indicator is either red or green.
• Red indicates dangerously hot surfaces (> 50 °C).
• Green indicates safe handling temperatures for the bus
components (<= 50 °C).
The bus temperature indicator is visible above the bus door
when the GC front door is open.
Bus temperatures can also be viewed using the touch screen. Do
one of the following:
• Settings > Service Mode > Intuvo Flow Chips.
• Add the desired temperature to the Status page.
