This Model 7976 Standalone Termination Unit is designed to provide you with
many years of trouble-free service. If a problem occurs, however, refer to
Table 6-2 for possible solutions.

Solutions
Refer to Table 4-1,

Messages, in Chapter 4, Monitoring
the Unit , for a recommended action.
Check the cable and connections.
Ensure the unit is configured
properly. Verify IP address and
communication port usage.
Reset the unit.
Reset the unit.
Contact your service
representative.
Check that the power cord is
securely attached at both ends.
Check the wall receptacle power
by plugging in some equipment
that is known to be working.
Check the power switch on the
units rear panel.
Check the circuit breaker.
Verify that your site is not on an
energy management program.
Replace power supply.
Run the Lamp test. If the LED in
question does not flash with the other
LEDs, then contact your service
representative.
