If you copy from a host that has a set of
programmed symbols to a host that doesn't
have any, the programmed symbols will be
blanks.
You cannot copy from a PC window that is
using graphics.
You cannot copy into protected areas of a
window.
You must make room for the copy unless you
want it placed over what is already there.
The copy procedure described in the following
sections involves:
Marking what you want to copy
Marking where you want to place the copy
Making the copy.
Marking What You Want to Copy
Let's mark a piece of text to copy:
1.
Use the Jump key to jump to a window that
has the text you want to copy.
For example, let's make a copy of this text in
one of your windows:
Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
How I wonder what you are.
High above the sky so bright
I wish I could remember the last line.
