3. Make sure that only approved persons are in the
work area.

5. Make sure that the product is assembled correctly
and is not damaged.
6. Put the remote control to off. Refer to
remote control to off on page 42 .
7. Put the remote control in the remote control storage
box.
8. Attach the remote control storage box to the engine

9. Put the switch for remote control mode to the "0"
position.
To start the engine
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Push in the PTO button to disengage the drive on
the cutting deck.
3. Move the throttle control to the middle position.

5. When the engine starts, immediately release the
ignition key to neutral position.
CAUTION:

6. Let the engine run at half throttle for 3-5 minutes
before you apply a heavy load.
7. Push the throttle control to full throttle position.

until the cutting deck is lowered to the mow
position.
