11. For cutting deck models C112X, C122X, R137X:

a) Connect the cable to the outlet (A).
b) Attach the cable to the cable clip (B) on the
footrest plate.
CAUTION:
is in correct position below the actuator
(C) and does not get compressed when
you put the cutting deck in mow position.

To remove the cutting deck
1. Park the product on level ground.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. For cutting deck models C112X, C122X, R137X: Set
the cutting height to the lowest position. Refer to
adjust the cutting height (C112X, C122X, R137X) on
page 33 .
4. Push the switch for the electric lift to lower the
cutting deck. Lower the cutting deck fully until you
hear a pattering sound.
CAUTION:
minimum of 2 seconds after the cutting
deck touches the ground. This is to
make sure that the cutting deck is in float
position.

5. Stop the engine.
6. Put the ignition key to neutral position.

a) Disconnect the cable from the power outlet (A).
b) Remove the cable from the cable clip (B) on the
footrest plate.
8. Release the clip on the front cover with the tool
attached to the ignition key, and remove the cover.

10. Pull the spring handle out from the spring holder to
loosen the drive belt tension.
