4. Arrow down to Group Dial and then use the keypad to enter an available entry number (01
through 20).
5. Do one of the following:
• If the entry number is already taken, the menu will display "Not Available." If this happens, try
the next consecutive number.
• If the entry number you have entered is available, the menu will read, "[00]# Available." Press
OK.
6. At Name, use the keypad to enter the name for this group. For information on entering names and

the 0 button on the keypad to add spaces where needed.
7. Arrow down to Address Type and press OK.
8. Select Phone Number and then press OK.
9. To add existing Speed Dial entries to your new Group Dial entry, in the Speed Dial line, use the
keypad buttons to enter the first Speed Dial entry you want to add and then press OK. Press OK
again to confirm the Speed Dial entry and then at Add press OK again.
10. Repeat step 9 to add additional Speed Dial entries to this Group Dial entry. When finished, leave
the Address Book menu by pressing the Back/Menu button until you reach the desired menu.
Using the Control Panel Keypad
Use the keypad buttons to enter numbers and names into the printer control panel.
• The two input modes are numbers and letters. When you are entering an email address into the
email address Name field at the printer control panel, the keypad is in letter mode. When you are
entering a fax number, the keypad is in number mode. To switch modes, press the * button on the
keypad.
• To delete entered text, press the Back button.
• To enter a space, press the 0 button.
The following table lists the characters assigned to each button on the printer control panel keypad
when the keypad is in letter mode. For example, pressing the 2 button twice in number mode results in
"22", and pressing the 2 button twice in letter mode results in "b".
