Printing on Card Stock

You can print on thin or thick card stock. See
Card Stock Printing Guidelines
Paper thicker than 90 gsm (24 lb. bond) is referred to as thick stock. Test all thick stock to ensure
acceptable performance.
You can print continuously with thick stock. However, this could affect the media feed, depending
on the media quality and printing environment. If problems occur, stop the continuous printing
and print one sheet at a time.
Print on card stock only from Tray 1.
Load the card stock faceup in the tray.
Do not load card stock of mixed thicknesses in the tray at a time; use only one thicknesses in the
tray per print job.
Do not use card stocks that are coated, designed for inkjet printers, or that contain cutouts or are
perforated.
