Possible cause:
The measured tire pressure
is outside of the permissible
tolerance.
Check tire for damage and
handling.
If the tire can still be handled:
Correct the tire pressure at
the next opportunity.
Before adjusting the tire pres-
sure, check the information
on temperature compensation
and tire pressure adjustment
in the chapter "Technology in
detail":

The target tire pressures can

Have the tire checked by a
specialist workshop for dam-
age, preferably by an autho-
rized BMW Motorrad retailer.
If you are unsure whether the
tire is ridable:
Do not continue riding.
Contact roadside service.
Transmission fault

Possible cause:
The vehicle has not reached the
minimum speed (
min 19 mph (min 30 km/h)
(The RDC sensor transmits
its signal to the vehicle only
once the minimum speed has
been exceeded.)
Observe the TPM display at
higher speed.
This is a permanent fault
only when the general
warning light also lights up.
In this case:
Have the malfunction cor-
rected at a specialist work-
TIRE
shop, preferably an authorized
BMW Motorrad retailer.
Possible cause:
The radio link to the TPM sen-
sors is disrupted. There are
radio installation in the sur-
rounding area that are causing
interference to the connection
between the TPM and the sen-
sors.
