• Two SAE #10-32 UNF x .31L in. washers and screws—To attach the grounding lug to the protective
earthing terminal.
• Screwdriver to attach the screws.
To connect earth ground to an ACX6160 device:
1. Attach one end of the grounding cable to an appropriate earth ground site, such as the mounting
rack.
2. Position the grounding lug over the protective earthing terminal on the side of the chassis, which is
visible through the mounting bracket.
3. Secure the grounding lug to the protective earthing terminal with the washers and screws. See
20 on page 56.

4. Dress the grounding cable and ensure that it does not touch or block access to other device
components and that it does not drape where people could trip over it.
