justment
TIP
Observe the following precautions when executing the diagnostic mode. (Code No. 84)
• Make sure that the battery has been sufficiently charged.
• Place the vehicle on the centerstand.
• After operating the electronically adjustable suspension, wait 5 minutes or more before operating it
again. (If the electronically adjustable suspension is operated repeatedly, fault code No. 94 may be
indicated due to the operation of the circuit breaker in the rear shock absorber assembly DC motor.)
• Do not disconnect the battery terminals while the rear shock absorber assembly DC motor is operat-
ing.

When completed success-
fully:
"00" is displayed in the
multi-function meter right
display and the electroni-
cally adjustable suspen-
sion system warning light
goes off. The preload is
adjusted to the solo-riding
position.
When not completed suc-
cessfully:
"F0" is displayed in the
multi-function meter right
display and the electroni-
cally adjustable suspen-
sion system warning light
remains on. Remove the
rear shock absorber as-
sembly DC motor and ad-
just it by hand.
After adjusting the DC mo-
tor, perform the procedure
for diagnostic code No. 84
again. If "F0" is displayed
again, replace the rear
shock absorber assembly.
