TIP
• If there is a malfunction in the fuel injection system, the windshield adjusting function "1" will be dis-
played in the function display, the engine trouble warning light "2" will come on, and a fault code num-
ber "3" will be displayed. If there are malfunctions in other systems, refer to the troubleshooting
sections for the systems indicated by the warning lights.
• Fault code numbers for the electronically adjustable suspension system are not displayed together
with the fault code numbers for other systems. Therefore, fault code numbers for the electronically
adjustable suspension system may be displayed after the malfunctions in other systems are repaired.

Cylinder identification sensor: no normal signals are received from the

cylinder identification sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor: no normal signals are received from the

crankshaft position sensor.
13 Intake air pressure sensor: open or short circuit detected.
Intake air pressure sensor: hose system malfunction (clogged or de-

tached hose).
15 Throttle position sensor: open or short circuit detected.
Sidestand switch: a break or disconnection of the black/red lead of the

ECU is detected.
Intake air pressure sensor or atmospheric pressure sensor: when the
20 main switch is turned to "ON", the intake air pressure sensor voltage
and atmospheric pressure sensor voltage differ greatly.
21 Coolant temperature sensor: open or short circuit detected.
22 Air temperature sensor: open or short circuit detected.
23 Atmospheric pressure sensor: open or short circuit detected.
O sensor: no normal signals are received from the O
