1.0 mm (0.04 in)

3.5–4.5 mm (0.14–0.18 in)
Installed depth "d"
0.5 mm (0.02 in)

4.5 mm (0.18 in)
TIP
• Make sure that the oil seals do not protrude
past the edges of the relay arm.
• When installing the oil seals "3" to the relay
arm, face the character stamp of the oil seals
outside.
• Make sure that the oil seals "4" do not protrude
past the edges of the relay arm.

5. Install:
• Relay arm "1"
• Connecting arms "2"
TIP
• Make sure that the embossed mark "1MD" on
the relay arm faces to the left.
• Make sure that the embossed mark "1MD" on
each connecting arm faces outward.

INSTALLING THE REAR FENDER
ASSEMBLY
1. Install the rear fender assembly temporarily.
2. Pass the rear shock absorber assembly step-
ping motor coupler and rear shock absorber
assembly DC motor coupler through the
holes in the DC motor upper cover and rear
fender assembly, and then connect the cou-
plers.
TIP
Move the rear shock absorber assembly slightly,
and then pass the couplers through the holes in
the DC motor upper cover and rear fender as-
sembly.
3. Install the rear shock absorber assembly
bolts "1" washer, and spacers.
