BRAKE ADJUSTMENT

The brake adjustment spring can be accessed by re-
moving the inspection hatch (1).
The adjustment is to be made with the parking brake
engaged and consists of altering the length of the
spring (2) to the best measurement. The braking ca-
pacity is increased by screwing the nut down on the
rod (and thus shortening the length of the spring).
Loosen the nut (4) which retains the bracket (5) and
then turn the nut (6) so that the length «A» of the
spring (2) is:

made the adjustment, proceed as under indicated,
according to the type of transmission fitted on the ma-
