This procedure applies only to 4U server models with non-hot-swap power supplies.
To replace the software RAID simple-swap hard disk drive backplate with hardware RAID simple-swap hard
disk drive backplate, complete the following steps:
1. Read the safety information in

4. Align the bottom edge of the simple-swap backplate between the tabs and the bottom edge of the hard
disk drive cage (area colored in grey), then rotate the backplate toward the hard disk drive cage and
slide it inwards.
