Initiating Diagnostics Mode

Pressing the SET TIMER key for 3 seconds while both cavities are in Idle mode, or from Showroom mode, will
cause the system to enter Diagnostics/Showroom Menu mode. (See Figure 3-63)
Upon entry, the Lower Information Line will display "PRESS 1 TO ENTER DIAGNOSTICS MODE. PRESS 2 TO
TOGGLE THE SHOWROOM MODE STATUS. PRESS ENTER TO CONTINUE". If the user presses the 1 key, the
system will immediately enter Diagnostics mode. The mode is exited via the OVEN OFF key, or the CLEAR key
from the initial Service Mode Entry Menu. The Diagnostics mode will also terminate after 5 minutes of no keypad
activity.
To navigate through the menu, the following keys are defined:
"ENTER"
Moves you to the next state in that level, or if you are looking at the Service Menu document it will move
you "down" the menu, returning to the top of the menu when on the lowest state. This key will not
change levels, within the menu, but merely states.
"CLEAR"
Moves you back one state. Can also move you back one level if in the initial entry menu for one of
the diagnostics sub-levels.
"LOCK"
Takes you from any sub level back to the initial Service Mode Entry menu.
"UPPER/
Will switch active screen to opposite oven cavity and stay in current state. This key is only applicable in
LOWER"
the Statistics and Manual Test sub-levels, when a double oven is detected.
"OVEN OFF"
Also applies to both UPPER OFF and LOWER OFF keys. Will exit the Diagnostics mode and return
LCD to TODD.

ty in
question.
