Component Access & Removal

OVEN SIDE COMPONENTS:

IT IS NECESSARY TO REMOVE THE UNIT FROM
ITS INSTALLATION, REMEMBER THAT THE UNIT
COULD TIP FORWARD WHEN PULLED BEYOND
ITS INSTALLATION.
TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK, POWER TO THE
UNIT MUST BE DISCONNECTED WHENEVER SER-
VICING AND/OR ACCESSING COMPONENTS.
Channel Venting Removal
The channel venting is held in place by tabs at the rear
and screws at the front. The small front channel is
secured with screws to the oven frame.
To remove the channel venting, extract screws around
the channels. Now, lift the front of the channel out
slightly while disengaging tabs on the channel from the
side enclosure. The small front channel is removed by
extracting the screws around the outside edges. (See
Figure 4-33)
Enclosure Removal
To remove the enclosure panel remove the channel
venting first.
1. Extract the screws securing the enclosure panel to
the oven frame, including the screws securing the
trim mounting brackets.
2. Slide the enclosure towards the rear, so that the
front of the enclosure is out from behind the oven
cavity. Then, pull the top of the enclosure out from
under the pan module and lift the enclosure from
the side of the unit. (See Figure 4-34).
Insulation Removal
To remove the insulation, remove the channel venting
and enclosure. To remove the upper left side insulation
pack, the top rear panel will need to be removed to
allow access to the quick disconnect for the oven
lights. Then, carefully remove the insulation pack
from the side of unit.
