Electronic Control System

Power Up Mode

When the unit is being powered-up for the first time or recovering from a power failure the controller will go through
the following sequence.
1. Digit Test: All LCD segments, icons, and dot matrix elements will be displayed for 2 seconds.
2. Version check: Software versions and the configuration data's CRC will be retrieved and displayed. Failure of
the configuration data CRC will cause the control to enter error mode. If the communications with the Relay
Module is bad, Relay Module micro versions will be displayed as 00.0.0 and the power-up self-test's result will
indicate the error. Versions will be displayed for 2 seconds.
3. Voltage check: The Relay Module checks the line voltage. "240 VAC" or "208 VAC" will be displayed as appro-
priate for 1 second.
4. Select Language: "SELECT LANGUAGE: (ENGLISH - 1, GERMAN – 2, FRENCH – 3, SPANISH – 4,
ITALIAN - 5)"
5. Self-diagnostics: During the previous steps, the system will be performing the self-diagnostics tests. If this step
is reached prior to completion of the test, "Testing.... Please Wait" will be displayed in the LILA and "Self Test
Active" will be displayed in the URL, until test is completed. Upon completion, "System Passed" or the fault sta-
tus will be displayed for 1 second.
6. Model Identification: System will identify single/double status and display "WOLF SINGLE WALL OVEN" or
"WOLF DOUBLE WALL OVEN" as appropriate for 1 second.
7. Set Clock: Flash "TODD" (Time of Day) until a key is pressed or the clock is set. The flashing TODD is the last
step of the initial power-up sequence. When this step is reached on initial power-up, the TODD will display 12:00
AM and flash at one-second intervals until the user has acknowledged the TODD. The TODD can be acknowl-
edged by setting a new TODD or accepting the TODD shown on the display by pressing any key. In the event
that the unit is powered-down before the user has acknowledged the TODD, subsequent power-ups will result in
a return to this screen.

Setting Clock

When the TODD is being set, the unit will continue to increment the TODD during the entry period. Pressing the
CLEAR key during the entry period causes the clock/timer display to show the previously stored time even if
changes were made, and the time entry mode will be canceled.
Enter time of day using numeric keypad. Press ENTER. The Lower Information Line will prompt for AM/PM selec-
tion. Select 1 for AM, 2 for PM. Pressing ENTER will cause the clock to change to the entered time, setting sec-
onds to zero.
NOTE: The clock setting may be changed at any other time by first pressing the SET CLOCK key, then entering the
time of day and pressing the ENTER key when finished.
