OVERVIEW

This is by no means a comprehensive explanation of features or an attempt to create a "user's manual", but rather
an introduction to the new look and feel of the SO30-2 and DO30-2 product. User operation will be outlined in a few
situations that illustrate both basic and advanced use (e.g. simple bake mode and timed cooking modes).
Although this product shares many of the same internal components and features of the present SO30, DO30 and
SO36 unit, some simplification has been made, while maintaining ease-of-use. These changes include the following:
• Elimination of the rotating control panel
• Use of a slightly smaller display (6.25" x 1.5")
• Single LCD on the double oven (allows for common graphic layouts)
NOTE: An LCD is integrated in the center of the control panel. In the double oven configuration, the LCD alternates
between showing the upper and lower oven information.

Control Panel Zoning

The control panel offers many cooking modes, features, and timing capabilities for two ovens. In order to organize
these functions, the control panel is broken down into six distinct "zones": (See Figure 3-1).
• Numeric Keypad - with ENTER & CLEAR is used to input temperatures and cook times
• Power Buttons - each oven has a dedicated OFF key. an UPPER/LOWER selector button toggles between the
ovens when they are being used simultaneously.
• LCD - displays pertinent information for the "active" oven
• Axillary Features (Timer, Clock, Timed Cook and Probe)
• Cook Modes - standard modes in upper bank, convection modes in lower bank
• Other features - self cleaning and child lock
