The logger is not designed for use without an external barrier in hot-water
applications or in an environment of rapidly changing temperature; the accuracy of
data cannot then be guaranteed. Although able to record at
recommended that, for freezing applications, even above this temperature, a
thermal barrier (TB5011) be used to overcome thermal shock errors.
