Finalizing the Installation
Diffuser Plate Adjustment
Certain vent configurations require the diffuser plate to be adjusted (refer to the approved vent
configuration charts for details). Position # 1 is stock (bent). Position # 2 is flattened. See the directions
below to change the diffuser to position #2.

Remove the exhaust restrictor.
NOTE: These obround holes allow for the
restrictor to be removed with the screws still in
place.

1/4" Nutdriver
Bend the round portion of the
diffuser so it is flat (position # 2).
Secure the flattened diffuser plate with the
screws removed earlier.
Replace the exhaust restrictor (see "Exhaust
Restrictor Adjustment" for restrictor
settings).

Remove the diffuser.
