The Mini-Gigabit Ethernet Card (Mini-GBIC) port interface slots on the 1G587-09 device and the
optional 1G-2MGBIC expansion module can accept 1000BASE-SX short wavelength or
1000BASE-LX long wavelength fiber-optic Mini-GBICs (see
