This command advances the paper

The value of the g-units
parameter
is set by ESC [ \(Set Verti cal
Units)
command.
When the printer is turned
on,
g-units defaults
to
216
.
The
valid range
for
n
is 1
to
255.
This
command
does
not
affect the line-spacing increment used by the line feed control.
The printer's basic index unit is 1/240 inch. If the variable line
feed is specified in units other than
1/240,
the printer continually
adjusts the vertical position of
the
printer to the nearest 11240th
inch. The
horizontal
printing position is not affected by this
command unless setup
switch
2 in Switch Group 1 is in the
ON
position.
If
the switch is
ON,
the horizontal
printing
position
is
returned to the left
margin.
The paper advance is unaffected by
skip perforation and top and
bottom
margins.
For
cut
sheet
paper,
the page is ejected when the top edge of the next line
exceeds the page
length.
When
the
next line
is ready to be
printed
,
the next page is
loaded
or requested and the
line
is
printed at the top edge of the
page.
