The Erase Button
Press the erase button
After pressing the erase button, the upper part of the status indicator is
continuously lighting up in blue and the CR 30-X starts erasing the image
plate of the cassette inserted next. If no cassette with image plate has been
inserted after 60 seconds, the system automatically returns to standby mode.
For more information, refer to 'Re-erasing an Image Plate' on page 37.
You can also use the erase button to disable the audio signal after an error.
Status Indicator
The indicator informs the user by light signals about the status of the CR 30-X.
It is positioned at the front of the digitizer, so that it is visible from a distance.
The indicator is divided in two parts. The upper part is
used to inform the operator about the image plate
erasing cycle progress and is only then lit. The lower part
is used for all other operational indications.
