Protect your investment
Dust and dirt build up on CR phosphor plates, leading to
image artifacts. To avoid this, plates need cleaning at
regular intervals. As CR imaging plates are highly
sensitive to water-based cleaning fluids, Agfa has
developed an ethanol-based plate cleaner. Using this
cleaner, specially designed for CR phosphor plates,
will help ensure them the longest service life.
Simple to use
CR Phosphor Plate Cleaner is simple to use: moisten
a piece of gauze with the cleaner, wipe gently across
the plate's surface and wait for any remaining solvent
to evaporate.
CR Phosphor Plate Cleaner is suitable for use with
CR imaging plates only, not with conventional plates.
Cleaning frequency
Plates subject to a normal frequency of use should be
cleaned at least once every month or whenever there is
doubt about particles visible on the X-ray images.
